Bath & Body Works Semi Annual Sale 2026

The Bath & Body Works Semi Annual Sale runs twice a year: in mid June and again after Christmas. In 2026 the summer sale opened online for rewards members on June 14 at 6 PM ET and for everyone on June 15, with up to 75% off select items. The winter sale follows Christmas, and Candle Day, with 3-wick candles at $9.95 in 2025, comes in early December. Everything below was checked on the brand's own site in October 2026. The winter Semi Annual Sale comes after Christmas, and Bath & Body Works announces its dates close to the sale. Right now, a Fall Sale offers up to 75% off select items.

The single best habit is to join the free rewards program before the sale, because members get in a night early, when the most popular scents are still on the shelf.

Semi Annual Sale: dates, what drops lowest, how to shop it

The Semi Annual Sale is Bath & Body Works' clearance event, with up to 75% off select items, and the stock does not come back once it sells out. The deepest markdowns are on retiring scents and seasonal products, so shop the first night for favorites and come back later in the sale for the lowest prices on whatever is left.

Bath & Body Works' own Semi Annual Sale FAQ sets the ground rules (checked October 2026):

• Early access. The summer 2026 sale opened online for My Bath & Body Works members first, on June 14 at 6 PM ET, a day before it opened to everyone.
• While supplies last. Sale items are available while supplies last, so once a scent is gone, it is usually gone.
• Online and store prices can differ. The brand says it cannot match in-store sale prices for online purchases, or the other way around.
• Extra offers during the sale. The 2026 summer sale also listed $3.50 Wallflowers Fragrance Refills and buy 3, get 3 free select full-size body care.

How to shop it:

1. Join My Bath & Body Works before the sale so you can shop the member-only first night.
2. Make a short list of the scents you actually use. Sale pages are long, and impulse buys add up fast at $3 to $8 each.
3. Check online and in store. Prices and stock differ, and each channel has items the other does not.
4. Use rewards, not just discounts. Every $100 spent earns a free item worth up to $18.95, so time your big haul to earn a reward.
5. Come back near the end. What is left often gets marked down further, but the popular scents will be gone.

Candle Day 2026: date, price and tips

Candle Day is Bath & Body Works' yearly 3-wick candle sale in early December, with every 3-wick candle at its lowest price of the season. In 2025 it ran online from 10 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 4, through Sunday, December 7, and in stores from Friday, December 5, at $9.95 a candle instead of $24.95 to $26.95.

The 2025 terms come from Bath & Body Works' own Candle Day announcement. As of mid October 2026, the brand had not announced Candle Day 2026, but the event has landed in the first weekend of December in recent years, after Black Friday. Most 3-wick candles were listed at $24.95 on the brand's site in October 2026, with some at $22.95 and a few above $26.

Tips for Candle Day:

• Shop online the first night if you want specific scents; the online sale starts the evening before stores open.
• Plan gifts in advance. At $9.95 a candle, Candle Day is the cheapest time of year to buy candles as gifts.
• Use your rewards on other items. Rewards apply to the most expensive eligible item in the order, so a Candle Day cart full of $9.95 candles gets less value from a reward.
• Check shipping costs. Several heavy candles can make shipping add up if your order does not get free shipping.

Every Bath & Body Works sale, month by month

Bath & Body Works runs a steady cycle of sales through the year: the summer Semi Annual Sale in June, seasonal sales in the fall, Black Friday and Candle Day around the start of December, and the winter Semi Annual Sale after Christmas. In between, the Top Offers page lists whatever promotions are live that week.

We only listed sales we could confirm on the brand's own site. Lists online that name exact dates for every month usually guess from past years, and Bath & Body Works changes the calendar from year to year. The app and the Top Offers page are the most reliable places to see what is running this week.

Black Friday at Bath & Body Works

Bath & Body Works had not announced its Black Friday 2026 offers when we checked in mid October 2026. In recent years, Candle Day has followed Black Friday in the first weekend of December, so many shoppers buy body care around Black Friday and wait for Candle Day for candles.

How to plan for it:

1. Price your list now. Note the regular price of the candles, body care and Wallflowers refills you want.
2. Watch the Top Offers page in November. Bath & Body Works lists its current offers there.
3. Split candles from everything else. If Candle Day returns at a price like 2025's $9.95, it will beat most Black Friday candle offers.
4. Use one code per order. Bath & Body Works allows one promo code per online order, so pick the best one for each cart.

My Bath & Body Works rewards: points and free items

My Bath & Body Works is the brand's free rewards program. Members earn 10 points for every $1 spent on eligible items, and every 1,000 points, or $100, earns a reward for a free product worth up to $18.95. Members also get a birthday reward and early access to sales such as the Semi Annual Sale.

Some products are not eligible for rewards, including Wallflowers plugs, candle and soap accessories, PocketBac holders, car fragrance holders, sponges and socks (My Bath & Body Works FAQ, checked October 2026). Points and rewards can take up to 72 hours to appear after an in-store purchase or after an online order ships.

Because a reward applies to the most expensive eligible item, the best way to use it is on a full-price item near the $18.95 cap, such as a 3-wick candle at its regular price, not on a $3.50 refill. Free shipping and how to avoid shipping fees

Bath & Body Works ships free in the contiguous US on orders of $50 or more, counted on the merchandise subtotal after discounts. Below that, standard shipping costs $7.99 on orders of $10 to $49.99 and $10.99 under $10, so a small sale order can lose most of its savings to shipping.

Bath & Body Works says gift cards, Scent-Scription purchases, tax, shipping and store pickup items do not count toward the $50 (Bath & Body Works free shipping, checked October 2026). Three ways around the fee:

1. Buy online, pick up in store. Pickup skips shipping entirely.
2. Combine orders. During the Semi Annual Sale, one $50 order beats two $25 orders by $7.99.
3. Watch for free shipping offers. The brand sometimes runs lower thresholds, so check the offer details at checkout.

Bath & Body Works rewards vs Ulta and Sephora

For body care and candles, Bath & Body Works rewards are generous: $100 of spending earns a free item worth up to $18.95, close to 19% back on a full-price item. Ulta members get about $5 back on $100 at the 1,000-point level, and Sephora gives points toward gifts and Beauty Insider Cash.

The Bath & Body Works reward is only that valuable if you use it well. A reward spent on a $3.50 refill is worth $3.50. Spend it on a full-price 3-wick candle or a full-size fragrance and it is worth close to the full $18.95. Military, teacher and student discounts. We found no military, teacher or student discount on Bath & Body Works' own site in October 2026. The rewards program, the birthday reward and the big sales are the reliable ways to save there.

Coupon rules: what stacks, one per order, mailer coupons

Bath & Body Works allows one promo code per online order, but many sale offers need no code, so a code can still apply on top of them. Rewards are not promo codes, so up to eight rewards can be used in the same order as a code. Mailer coupons and app Wallet offers are single use.

The brand's own help pages disagree on which code applies if you enter two, so remove any code before you add a better one (Why isn't my offer code working?, checked October 2026). Each offer also has its own fine print, so read the terms on the coupon before you build a cart around it.

A Bath & Body Works savings plan for the year

Put the pieces together and a year of Bath & Body Works shopping gets much cheaper: buy body care and soaps during the two Semi Annual Sales, buy candles on Candle Day, spend rewards on full-price items, and claim the birthday reward every year. Spread across the calendar, that covers almost everything most shoppers buy there.

1. Join the rewards program now. It is free, it gets you the member-only first night of the Semi Annual Sale, and every $100 earns a reward.
2. Add your birthday. The birthday reward is a free item up to $9.95 each year, and the date cannot be changed later.
3. Stock up on body care and hand soap in June and after Christmas. That is when the Semi Annual Sale takes up to 75% off select items.
4. Buy candles on Candle Day. At 2025's $9.95, candles cost less than half their regular $24.95 to $26.95.
5. Use rewards on full-price items. A reward covers one item up to $18.95, so save it for a candle or fragrance at full price.
6. Keep each order at $50 or more, or pick up in store. That avoids the $7.99 shipping fee.
7. Spend rewards within 90 days. Rewards expire 90 days after you earn them.

Return policy in short

Bath & Body Works refunds returns with a receipt to the original payment method within 90 days, and gives merchandise credit after that. Your shipping confirmation email counts as a receipt. Without a receipt, you get merchandise credit at the item's lowest selling price, and select US stores limit receipt-free returns.

• With a receipt, within 90 days: refund to your original payment method.
• With a receipt, after 90 days: merchandise credit.
• Without a receipt: merchandise credit at the lowest price the item sold for, after all promotions and coupons.
• Select US stores: receipt-free returns and exchanges are capped at $250 in 90 days, with government ID, except for defective items.
• Online orders: exchanges and gift returns happen in stores.
• Bought elsewhere: items from authorized sellers such as Amazon go back to that seller, not to Bath & Body Works.
