The Ridge Power Bank is a 10,000 mAh battery that snaps magnetically onto the back of an iPhone, charges it wirelessly at up to 15W, and has its own USB-C and Lightning cables built in, plus a pad for an Apple Watch. It cost $89 on its own when we checked, and Ridge was selling three for $158. Its real selling point is that it replaces a handful of separate chargers and cables in one slim block. If you have a recent iPhone and an Apple Watch, it is a genuinely handy all in one. If you use an Android phone without magnets, most of what makes it special is wasted. We took every spec below from Ridge's own product page on October 19, 2026. Check our Ridge discount codes before you buy.
The short answer
What it does well:
- One charger for several devices: MagSafe for an iPhone, a built-in USB-C cable, a built-in Lightning cable and an Apple Watch charging pad.
- No cables to forget: both cables are part of the power bank.
- A kickstand, so your phone can stand up while it charges.
- Owners rate it well: 4.6 out of 5 stars from 2,185 reviews on Ridge's product page.
What to know:
- 15W wireless is not the fastest. It is fine for topping up through the day, but a cable is quicker.
- Some owners report slower charging, occasional heat and built-in cables that are fiddly to pull out, according to Ridge's own review summary.
- It is not covered by the Built for Life Warranty, which covers loss and theft for Ridge wallets. Power banks get Ridge's standard lifetime warranty against defects instead.

How it works day to day
The power bank does four jobs at once. Snap it onto a MagSafe iPhone and it charges wirelessly. Pull out the built-in USB-C cable to charge an Android phone, an iPad or earbuds. Use the Lightning cable for an older iPhone or AirPods. Rest an Apple Watch on the magnetic pad to charge that too. An LED display shows how much battery is left, and the kickstand props your phone up for a video while it charges.
Ridge says the 10,000 mAh battery gives up to three full phone recharges. Treat that as a best case. Every power bank loses some energy converting and transferring it, and wireless charging loses more than a cable, so you will usually get fewer full charges wirelessly than the headline number suggests. If you need the most from each charge, use the USB-C cable.
Who should buy it

It makes the most sense if you:
- have a MagSafe iPhone and an Apple Watch, and want one thing to charge both on the go,
- forget cables, or are tired of carrying a separate one for each device,
- like the idea of propping your phone up on a tray table or desk while it charges.
It makes less sense if you:
- use an Android phone without a magnetic case, because you lose the snap-on wireless charging and are left with a cabled power bank,
- need fast charging for a laptop, since 20W is aimed at phones and small devices,
- carry it in a tight pocket, since at 16 mm thick and 209 g it is noticeable.
Can you take the Ridge Power Bank on a plane?
Yes, in your carry-on bag. In the US, the FAA requires spare lithium batteries such as power banks to travel in carry-on luggage, not checked bags, and batteries up to 100 watt hours are allowed without airline approval. The Ridge Power Bank is rated at 38.5 Wh, well under that limit. Rules can differ by airline and country, so check before you fly.
Price and the best way to buy it
On October 19, 2026, the Ridge Power Bank cost $89 on its own, and Ridge was offering a buy two, get one free deal that made three cost $158. It also comes in kits with a Ridge Wallet:
| Kit | Price on Oct 19, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Ridge Power Bank | $89 |
| Three Power Banks | $158 |
| Ridge Wallet + Power Bank | $145 |
| Ridge Wallet for MagSafe + Power Bank | From $175 |
| Ridge Wallet + Power Bank + KeyCase | $175 |
If you were going to buy a Ridge Wallet anyway, the wallet and power bank kit at $145 costs $39 less than buying a $95 aluminum wallet and an $89 power bank separately. If you only want the power bank, the three-pack is good value when you can split it with family. Our Ridge Wallet buying guide covers the wallet in detail.
Warranty and returns
The Ridge Power Bank is covered by Ridge's standard lifetime warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship. Unlike Ridge wallets and KeyCases, it is not part of the Built for Life Warranty, so loss and theft are not covered. Ridge's 99-day trial lets you return it for a refund if you are not happy, and its refund policy asks for items to be returned unused and in the condition you received them, so test it gently. Shipping was free on most US orders over $35.
Is the Ridge Power Bank worth it?
At $89, it is not the cheapest 10,000 mAh battery you can buy. What you are paying for is convenience: MagSafe, two built-in cables, an Apple Watch charger and a kickstand in one well-reviewed block. For an iPhone and Apple Watch owner who wants to stop carrying separate chargers, that is worth it. For an Android user, or anyone who mainly wants raw capacity for the price, a plainer power bank is better value.
How to pay less
