Deals from this guide
Ridge's luggage is built the same way as its wallets: tough materials, a clean design and a lifetime warranty. The Carry-On has a German Makrolon polycarbonate shell, a TSA-approved lock and spinner wheels, and comes with a free 10-piece accessories set, and its price ranged from $199 to $345 by color when we checked, against a "was" price of $590. The detail to check first is size: Ridge lists the Carry-On at 22.5 x 14.5 x 9 inches, a touch over the 22 x 14 x 9 inch limit most big US airlines publish. Its backpacks and duffel were $99 each. We went through every bag on Ridge's own product pages on October 19, 2026. Check our Ridge discount codes before you buy.

The Ridge Carry-On
According to Ridge's product page, as of October 2026, the Carry-On has:
- A German Makrolon polycarbonate shell, which Ridge says is 30% thicker than standard carry-ons.
- Reinforced ABS corner protectors on the high-wear corners.
- IPX3 weatherproofing, rated to resist rain, splashes and spray.
- A built-in TSA-approved combination lock.
- 360-degree spinner wheels, an adjustable telescopic handle and two carry handles.
- A compression panel and a zipped side panel inside, with a bright Basecamp Orange lining that makes it easy to spot things.
- An AirTag pocket, so you can track the bag.
It measures 22.5 x 14.5 x 9 inches outside and 20.5 x 14 inches inside. Ridge does not list its weight or capacity in liters on the product page, which is a gap worth noticing if you fly airlines that weigh carry-ons.
The free accessories set
Every Carry-On came with a free 10-piece accessories set, which Ridge values at $195: four packing cubes, a luggage strap, a shoe bag, a laundry bag, a luggage tag, a cleaning kit and a sticker set. If you were going to buy packing cubes anyway, that adds real value.
Will the Ridge Carry-On fit in the overhead bin?
On paper, it is slightly over. American, Delta and United all publish a carry-on limit of 22 x 14 x 9 inches including wheels and handles. Ridge lists the Carry-On at 22.5 x 14.5 x 9 inches, half an inch over in two dimensions. Whether that matters depends on your airline and how strictly it enforces its sizer, but you could be asked to gate check it. Budget airlines often have smaller limits, so always check your airline before you fly.
Price
The Carry-On's price depends on the color. On October 19, 2026, it ranged from $199 to $345, with every color showing a crossed out price of $590.

The Ridge Check-In
The Check-In is Ridge's larger case. Its specs, from Ridge's product page:
- Outside: 26.5 x 18.5 x 10.5 inches.
- Inside: 24 x 18.5 x 5 inches, with a 70 liter capacity.
- Weight: 10.2 pounds.
- Build: a German Makrolon polycarbonate shell, black anodized aluminum corner protectors, YKK zippers and a TSA-approved lock.
- Wheels: oversized 360-degree spinner wheels with a double-track width.
Most US airlines limit checked bags to 62 linear inches (length plus width plus height) and 50 pounds. The Check-In adds up to 55.5 inches and weighs 10.2 pounds empty, so it fits comfortably with room for nearly 40 pounds of packing. On October 19, 2026, the only Check-In we found listed was the MKBHD edition, at $375 with a crossed out price of $495.
Ridge backpacks

Commuter Backpack 18L ($99)
The everyday option. Ridge lists it at 18 x 12 x 6.5 inches, 18 liters and 2.9 pounds, made from 840D ballistic nylon with a PU coating. It fits a laptop up to 16 inches and a water bottle up to 3.6 inches across, with YKK AquaGuard zippers and a removable carbon fiber logo plate. It was $99 on October 19, 2026, against a crossed out $195.
Commuter Pro Backpack ($99)
The Pro is built for people who carry more. Ridge lists a weatherproof 840D ballistic nylon shell with a water-resistant backing and zippers, a removable internal divider shelf to separate clothes or shoes from tech, a padded sleeve for a 16 inch laptop, two water bottle pockets for bottles up to 32 ounces, a quick-access front pocket, a hidden AirTag pocket and a pass-through strap that slides over a rolling suitcase handle. It also stands up on its own. It was $99 in standard colors on October 19, 2026, and $225 for the MKBHD edition. Ridge does not list its dimensions or capacity on the product page.
Which backpack? If you commute with a laptop and lunch, the 18L is enough. If you use your backpack for overnight trips or the gym, the Pro's divider shelf and second bottle pocket are worth it, and at the same $99 sale price, there is little reason not to get the Pro.
The Weekender Duffel 32L

The Weekender is a 900D ballistic nylon duffel with YKK AquaGuard zippers, a removable shoulder strap and a luggage sleeve, measuring 19 x 19 x 12 inches. It cost $99 on October 19, 2026. Ridge calls it carry-on approved, but its listed size is wider and deeper than the common 22 x 14 x 9 inch carry-on limit. A soft duffel that is not packed full is easier to fit into an overhead bin than a hard case, so pack it lightly if you plan to carry it on.
Smaller bags
Ridge also sells a Hardshell Sling, a small 1.7 liter polycarbonate crossbody that weighs 13.7 ounces, and a Commuter Sling, both $39 on October 19, 2026, plus a Packable Backpack at $95.
What owners say
Ridge's product pages show strong ratings: the luggage pages showed 4.9 out of 5 stars from 549 reviews, and the bag pages 4.9 from 527 reviews. Ridge's AI written review summary for the luggage says owners praise the rugged build, smooth wheels, organized interior and the warranty service, and a few mention minor issues with the wheels or handle.
Warranty and returns
Ridge's luggage, backpacks and bags are covered by its standard lifetime warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. They are not part of the Built for Life Warranty, which adds loss and theft coverage for Ridge wallets and KeyCases. Ridge's 99-day trial lets you send things back for a refund, and its refund policy asks for returns to be unused and in the condition you received them, so try the fit at home before you travel with it. Shipping was free on most US orders over $35.
Is Ridge luggage worth it?
At its sale prices, mostly yes. A $199 to $345 polycarbonate carry-on with a lifetime warranty and $195 of free accessories is fair value, and the $99 backpacks and duffel use tough 840D or 900D ballistic nylon for the price. Just ignore the crossed out prices, which are far above what anyone pays, and check the Carry-On's size against your airline before you buy.
