Rarely for the whole site. Amazon's savings mostly come as digital coupons you clip on product pages, Subscribe and Save discounts, Lightning Deals on the Today's Deals page, and markdowns in Amazon Outlet, Resale and Renewed. Clipped coupons apply automatically at checkout and usually only on items sold and shipped by Amazon.
Does Amazon price match?
No. Amazon's help page says it does not offer price matching, and it does not refund the difference if a regular item's price drops after you buy. Its Pre-order Price Guarantee charges you the lowest Amazon.com price offered between your order and the end of release day on pre-orders sold by Amazon.com.
How can I get Prime cheaper?
Prime for Young Adults costs $7.49 a month or $69 a year after a six-month trial for 18 to 24 year olds and higher education students. Prime Access costs $6.99 a month for people on qualifying government assistance such as SNAP EBT or Medicaid. Regular Prime is $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
What is Amazon Outlet?
Amazon Outlet gathers markdowns, closeouts and overstock deals in one place at amazon.com/outlet, across electronics, home decor, clothing and kitchen gadgets, with new deals every day, as of October 2026. It is separate from Amazon Resale, which sells used and open-box items.
How do Amazon Lightning Deals work?
Lightning Deals are short, limited-stock discounts on the Today's Deals page, one per customer. The item holds at the deal price in your cart for 15 minutes, and you must use the Proceed to Checkout button because 1-Click stops the deal from applying. During Prime events they are for Prime members.
Can I share my Amazon Prime membership with my family?
Yes. With Amazon Family, a Prime member can share many Prime benefits, such as free delivery and deal events, with one other adult in the same home who has their own Amazon account. Prime Video and digital content can also be shared with up to four children. Amazon Family is free, but Prime for Young Adults members cannot share their benefits.
Can I get free shipping on Amazon without Prime?
Yes. Customers without Prime get free shipping on eligible orders of $35 or more. Only items marked FREE Shipping that are shipped by Amazon count toward the minimum, and gift cards do not count. After a qualifying order, Amazon’s Extended Free Shipping lets you place more orders to the same address for 24 hours with no minimum.
Does Prime Video have ads?
Yes, Prime Video shows limited ads to Prime members. To watch without ads, add Prime Video Ultra for $4.99 a month, which also allows five streams at once, 100 downloads and 4K streaming. Annual Prime members can choose an annual Ultra plan for $45.99. Live events can still include ads, as of October 2026.
What is Amazon Haul?
Amazon Haul is a store inside Amazon where every item costs $20 or less, and most cost $10 or less. Orders of $25 or more ship free, smaller orders pay $3.99, and delivery usually takes one to two weeks. Haul takes 5% off orders of $50 and 10% off orders of $75 or more, and returns are free on items over $3 within 15 days.
