Discounts vary by item and are shown on Old Navy’s website. No code needed. Promotions are set by Old Navy and can change at any time.
Old Navy Super Cash is a "spend now, save later" reward. You earn a coupon during one window and spend it during a later one. Used well, it is one of the best regular deals in budget clothing.
How Super Cash works
Every Super Cash event has two parts:
- The earning period. Spend a qualifying amount at Old Navy, in store or online, and you get a Super Cash coupon. Online shoppers receive the code by email, usually within about 24 hours.
- The redemption period. A few days or weeks later, you use that coupon for a dollar-off discount on a new purchase.
The two periods do not overlap, so you cannot earn and spend Super Cash on the same order.
How much Super Cash can you earn?
The amounts change from event to event. In one recent format, the coupon was worth:
- $20 if you spent $50 to $99.99
- $40 if you spent $100 to $149.99
- $60 if you spent $150 or more
Earlier events used "$10 for every $25 spent". Always check the current event's terms.
Super Cash is based on what you pay after discounts and before tax. Gift cards, shipping and taxes do not count.
The rules that catch people out
- One coupon per transaction. You can earn only one Super Cash coupon per purchase, and redeem only one per purchase.
- No stacking with other promo codes. During redemption, Super Cash generally cannot be combined with other coupons. Old Navy rewards points can be an exception.
- Old Navy only. It is not valid at Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta or clearance outlets.
- Returns cost you. If you return items bought with Super Cash, the discount is not refunded.
- Lost codes are not replaced. Save the email or the printed coupon.
How to get the most from Super Cash
- Aim for the top of a tier. If the tiers are $50 and $100, a $95 order wastes most of the extra spend. Add a basic item to reach $100.
- Do not overshoot. Spending $120 earns the same as spending $100, so split into two orders when that earns two coupons.
- Buy what you would buy anyway. Super Cash only saves money if the second purchase is something you need.
- Compare before you redeem. Because Super Cash usually cannot stack, check whether a percent-off promo would save more on a big order.
Example: $40 Super Cash on an $80 order saves 50%. On a $300 order it saves about 13%, and a 30%-off code would beat it.
